28km east of Waikerie on the Sturt Highway, the world famous wine and ecological wetland with 3 Boardwalks highlighting local flora and fauna.
Self-guided walking trails featuring a series of story centres, information huts and bird hides where you can get close to the spectacular wetlands and wildlife. Walk is closed if temperature is over 35°.

Take a visit to Benson Park and go back in time and discover a different lifestyle on this century old property.
At Benson Park you can experience the Australian bush whilst gaining an appreciation for horses. Many safe trail riding options are available and all take in breathtaking views of the majestic Murray River. Twilight rides are available during the summer months.
Other attractions to the Park is their Bush Banquets which includes a 3 course camp over dinner with nibbles and hor d'oeurvres on arrival; children's birthday parties; bush walking and old fashioned games and puzzles in the barn.
The world famous bird watcher’s paradise with 14 walking trails and camping available. Gluepot Reserve is BirdLife Australia's first publicly funded Reserve. Located in the semi-arid South Australian mallee it is considered by many to be one of the crown jewels in the nation's reserve system. Gluepot Reserve is located 1.5 hrs drive on well-maintained dirt roads north of Waikerie. The Reserve is open to visitors year-round. Entry fees are payable upon arrival. Visitors need to be self-catering and are advised to check local conditions prior to heading out.
See up to 18 nationally threatened species of birds, 50 species of reptiles and 12 species of bats. A 50km self drive vehicle trail directs visitors to some of the diverse sites on the Reserve.

Burk Salter Wine and Wetland Tour
Burk Salter Wines is located on the picturesque banks of the river at Blanchetown. The area is renowned for its rich history and spectacular wildlife. Burk Salter Wines now offer exclusive tours of the family vineyard and surrounding wetlands aboard an immaculately restored 1927 Chevrolet Truck. The tour concludes with a private wine tasting at the Cellar Door accompanied by a gourmet cheese platter.
Loch Luna Cruises
Cruise through the Nockburra and Chambers Creeks of the Loch Luna Game Reserve aboard the M.V. Loch Luna. The 3 hour guided cruise departs from the Kingston-on-Murray riverfront 9am and 1.30pm Sunday- Friday and includes refreshments.
